Ground screws streamline the construction process, significantly reducing time and labor. Helical piles are 2-3x more expensive, and wood in the ground will rot. Ground screws have been around for decades but had not been widely used in Michigan yet. We changed that in 2024.
Ground screws take about 10 minutes to install one screw. They completely eliminate the need for excavation, backfillilng, concrete mixing and curing, and even footing inspections.
Michigan Ground Screw brought ground screws to the Michigan market and are the only wood-alternative product to have statewide approval and ICC-ESR. Our ground screws remain the least expensive wood-alternative product on the market today.
